In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate.

Success is a goal that most people strive to achieve in their lives. However, what is often forgotten is that true success lies not in worldly accomplishments, but in the pleasure of Allah (SWT). In this blog post, we will explore the concept of true success according to the Quran and Hadith.

Allah (SWT) is the ultimate source of success. The Quran says,

“And whoever fears Allah — He will make for him a way out. And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah — then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has already set for everything a [decreed] extent” (65:2–3).

This verse highlights the importance of having trust and reliance on Allah (SWT) to achieve success. It also emphasizes that Allah (SWT) will provide for those who fear Him and rely on Him.

Success in the eyes of Allah (SWT) is not measured by wealth, power, or status. Rather, it is measured by the individual’s efforts to please Allah (SWT) and follow His commands. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said,

“The most beloved of people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to people, and the most beloved of deeds to Allah is bringing happiness to a fellow Muslim, or relieving him of distress, or paying off his debt, or dispelling his hunger” (Tabarani).

This hadith highlights the importance of doing good deeds and benefiting others as a way to please Allah (SWT) and achieve true success.

Furthermore, true success is achieved by striving to be obedient to Allah (SWT) and following His commands. The Quran says,

“So whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it, and whoever does an atom’s weight of evil will see it” (99:7–8).

This verse emphasizes that even the smallest good deed is significant in the eyes of Allah (SWT) and will be rewarded. It also highlights the importance of avoiding sinful deeds, as even the smallest act of wrongdoing will be accounted for on the Day of Judgment.

True success is achieved by living a righteous life that is pleasing to Allah (SWT). The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said,

“The most perfect believer in faith is the one whose character is finest and who is kindest to his wife” (Tirmidhi).

This hadith highlights the importance of having good character and treating others with kindness and respect as a way to please Allah (SWT) and achieve success.

True success lies not in worldly accomplishments but in the pleasure of Allah (SWT). Islamic teachings emphasize that success is achieved by having trust and reliance on Allah (SWT), doing good deeds, being obedient to His commands, and living a righteous life. As Muslims, we should strive to achieve true success by following the example of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and seeking the pleasure of Allah (SWT) in all aspects of our lives.
